Filet Crochet, Tunisian, and Overlay Mosaic Crochet are her specialties; yet dabbles in other works as well.
How it’s Made
I start by sketching my design idea, in this instance, a charming plaid table runner.
Next, I transfer my sketch onto an Excel grid chart, adhering to filet crochet guidelines, to create a design chart.
I then construct a chart with crochet stitch symbols for each row.
Following that, I write out the crochet pattern.
Additionally, I create a digital PDF pattern, incorporating instructions, charts, border suggestions with straightforward diagrams, and blocking instructions for the final product if necessary.
Afterward, I crochet the design using the selected thread.
To ensure accuracy, I have individuals proficient in the Filet Crochet Technique test my pattern. Once confirmed, I publish my pattern here and elsewhere, and actively discuss it in social media groups.
