I hook for medium 4 worsted weight will make the blanket bigger/heavier.

How it’s Made
I wanted to create a blanket featuring a wild cat, so I drew inspiration from various photos of wildcats, including their faces, feet, tails, and body shapes. I refined my drawing until I was satisfied with it. Then, I transferred my drawing onto a grid, square by square, adhering to the rules of overlay mosaic crochet.
After perfecting the lion's appearance, I charted the grid pattern using symbols/letters to denote each square's stitch design on the crochet piece. I practiced with many crochet samples, experimenting with different methods to ensure the pattern would turn out perfectly. Subsequently, I wrote the pattern based on the chart, row-by-row, and included additional rows of instructions for left-handed crocheters.
Several crochet pattern testers tested my pattern by crocheting the blanket following the charts and written instructions which helped to identify any errors in both the chart and the written instructions. Now, the pattern is ready for anyone interested in crocheting a wildcat blanket.
