Crochet Thread - Size 10 - 2600 Yards
Size 9 Steel Crochet Hook
This pattern includes:
Easy-to-follow directions and a diagram for how to filet crochet and the lacet stitch.
Design Chart - Grid Chart - Row by row, with filled squares to follow along as you crochet.
Stitch Symbol Chart - Row by row with Crochet Stitch symbols.
Fully Written, row by row to show how the easy-to-follow charts work.
A simple tutorial of how to block, with a couple of photos for visual.
Directions and a simple diagram for a border.

Meet the Maker
Kathleen Fields loves the art of Crochet. Using this wonderful needlecraft for the past 30 years, she has designed many beautiful Blankets and House Decor items.

Some of her books are inspirational Christian-themed Crochet items using the beautiful Filet Crochet technique, including easy-to-follow Charts and Instructions.
She has many of her Patterns sold in popular online shops. She loves designing Overlay Mosaic Crochet Blankets.
All of her single Patterns are in digital PDF Pattern Form and can be easily downloaded and used on computers, tablets, etc.
Filet Crochet, Tunisian, and Overlay Mosaic Crochet are her specialties; yet dabbles in other works as well.
How it’s Made
First, I sketch my design idea roughly, such as a charming winter scene with snowmen and a Christmas tree for a table runner.
Next, I transfer my sketch onto an Excel grid chart, adhering to filet crochet guidelines, to create a design chart.
I then create a chart with crochet stitch symbols for each row.
Afterwards, I write out the crochet pattern.
I also compile a digital PDF pattern, incorporating instructions, charts, border suggestions with simple diagrams, and blocking instructions for the final product if necessary.
Once the design is crocheted with the chosen thread, I have it tested by individuals proficient in the Filet Crochet Technique to ensure accuracy. Finally, I publish my pattern online and discuss it extensively in social media groups.
