This warm Snuggly Blanket Wrap is perfect for wearing while wandering around on a chilly morning with a cup of tea or coffee. It would make the perfect gift for that person in your life who loves warmth.
Supplies Needed:
Size G Crochet Hook
Yarn Worsted Weight (Size 3) - DK would work
Color A: 2,700 yards Color B: 2,900 yards
Border: Any of the colors used. The chart is also colored in to make colorful stripes if you would like, or you can use the two colors as pictured (the brown yarn is variegated browns)
The pattern comes with:
1 design chart divided into 20 pages making it easy to see and follow. It is a grid chart using overlay mosaic crochet X squares.
A Photo tutorial on the Negative/Reverse Stitch - if you want the same design on the back as the front.
Instructions on how to add an extra color.
Border suggestions.
Simple chart instructions.
Row by Row written for the first 12 rows to help show how simple the chart is to use.
An Excel sheet is also added if you prefer.

How it’s Made
I envisioned a warm blanket with slits so I can wrap it around me when walking around on chilly mornings. So I decided to chart out an Overlay Mosaic Crochet pattern. It took many trials and errors to get the perfect design and style that I had pictured in my head, and that could fit pretty much anyone. It isn't a one-size-fits-all, but it comes close.
After charting it, myself, with other pattern testers, tested out the chart and pattern information to be sure things were lining up right on the chart and that the stitches were properly labeled. It took a couple of months to get everything in order.
And that is how this pattern came to be. I will be designing more blanket wraps so keep your eye on this shop. :-)
