A pretty rose table topper to go over those colorful tablecloths on small tables and dressers.
This pattern has:
A design placement chart,
A stitch symbol chart.
It also has the first 22 rows written out so that those who have never used a chart before will see how easy they are to use.
There are also two border suggestions included in the pattern,
Easy-to-understand stitch instructions,
There is some blocking information with photos.

This beautiful square rose doily is perfect for a beginner, as there are only 3 basic stitches involved, Double Crochet, Chain, and Single Crochet.
It takes size 10 crochet thread, and a size 7 steel crochet hook to complete.

How it’s Made
I rough draw out my idea for a design, in this case, a pretty rose filet crochet table topper.
I then take my drawn-out design and put it on an Excel grid chart (sheet) following the filet crochet rules. And make a design chart.
I make a chart using crochet stitch symbols row by row.
I write out the pattern.
I also prepare a digital PDF pattern and add the instructions, charts, border suggestions with easy diagrams, and how to block the finished product if needed.
I crocheted the design with the yarn I decided for it.
I have people who know how to do the Filet Crochet Technique test my pattern to make sure all the Ps and Qs are in order. Then I publish my pattern here and in other places... and talk a lot about it in groups on social media sites.
